Exhibition Item

At its meeting of 28 September 2021, Council resolved to place the draft Chisholm Central Precinct Plan on public exhibition. Pursuant to Part 3 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, notice is hereby given of the public exhibition of an amendment to the Maitland Development Control Plan 2011 (Part F – Urban Release Areas).

The proposed amendment seeks:

• To include Chisholm Central Precinct (Precinct 7) of Thornton North Urban Release Area (land description) into the Part F - Urban Release Areas chapter of the Maitland Development Control Plan 2011.
• The draft precinct plan aims to provide site specific development guidelines in accordance with the Thornton North Area Plan. The draft precinct plan includes a series of tables detailing key urban design elements addressing objectives and requirements to be achieved in the development of the precinct.
