In accordance with Section 214 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021, notice is hereby given of Council’s decision to approve amendments to the Thornton North Development Contributions Plan 2008.

The Thornton North Development Contributions Plan supports the Maitland Local Environmental Plan 2011 and the Maitland City Wide Development Control Plan. It sets out Council’s position in relation to the levying of contributions for the provision of public amenities and services required to support the incoming population of the Thornton North Urban Release Area.

The Plan amendments were approved by the General Manager acting under delegated authority on 30 January 2025 and become effective on 10 February 2025.
