Maitland hits the right note with Summer Night Sounds
Harold Gregson Reserve, Maitland’s premier entertainment precinct, will come alive on Saturday 8 February 2025 with Summer Night Sounds – a free evening of live music, delicious food and summer vibes.
From 4pm, enjoy a balmy summer evening with live performances from local talent, including Bindi Duo, Chain Daisy Duo, Fletcher Kent and Camino Gold. Alongside the music, indulge in a variety of delicious food from Hunter vendors, and take the opportunity to relax and connect with family and friends this summer.
“Summer Night Sounds is a celebration of the vibrant summer season, showcasing live music from some of the region’s best artists in Maitland’s newest performance space, the Harold Gregson Reserve amphitheatre,” says Darren Crumpler, Maitland City Council Manager Community & Recreation.
“We’ve curated a lineup that has something for everyone, with acts ranging from the soulful harmonies of Bindi Duo to Camino Gold’s surf-rock-inspired energy.”
The event is BYO-friendly, so bring a picnic blanket and your favourite drinks, or grab a bite from the food trucks available onsite.
The excitement continues throughout February at Harold Gregson Reserve with more family-friendly events. On Saturday 22 February 2025, the basketball court will transform into a skating wonderland for the Maitland Roller Disco.
“Whether you’re a seasoned skater or trying it for the first time, the Maitland Roller Disco offers a fun night of skating to live DJ tunes and enjoying delicious food from a variety of food trucks,” says Mr Crumpler.
The Roller Disco runs from 5pm to 9.30pm, is BYO skates and no bookings are required.
