Martial Arts expert William Johnson has been based in Maitland for the last 23 years. He owns and runs the popular Kombat Academy and he presents at national and international martial arts conventions. He has his sixth Dan Black Belt by two different Martial Arts Associations. He was inducted into the Philippine Martial Arts Hall of fame in 2015 and the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2016.
