Council issues Section 603 Certificates to residents who want to know how much is due on rates, charges, or other fees for a property. This is typically requested by people who are purchasing a property, or by their conveyancer.

Updates on Rates and Charges Certificates
If you have already ordered and received a Rates and Charges Certificate, you can request an update to see if any additional changes have been made to the certificate since you ordered.
If a submission is made by 3.00pm, we will provide an update on the same day. If after 3.00pm, you will receive your update the following business day.
Planning Certificate (Section 10.7)
A Planning Certificate gives information on information that may affect the use of the land, or development of the land, such as land zoning and Town Planning restrictions.
A Planning Certificate is required to be attached to the contract of sale when land is bought and sold.
Please make sure your land details are accurate before submitting the form.

Combined Planning Certificate (Section 10.7 & 5)
A Combined Planning Certificate is also available which gives the same information as a standard Planning Certificate, but with additional details like tree preservation, history of development consents, any draft Development Control Plans affecting the land, and any heritage listings.

Outstanding Notice Certificate (Section 735A & 121ZP)
Council issues Section 735A & 121ZP Certificates to residents who want to know if there’s any outstanding orders, notices, directions and demands that Council may have issued for a property. Notices could include a range of different building and land use issues.
